WELDERS SHIRT SAFE and COMFORTABLE
Following almost 18 Months of Product Development XAX DESIGN has developed an Industry specific Work Shirt for Welders. The primary objective was to combine the necessities of body protection and comfort while providing a garment with extra safety and longer lasting wear time at an affordable market price.
The result is the XAX "Gloflash" FR200 Welders Shirt which has specific features designed within the garment and especially suited for the trade. Concealed buttons, closed front design, safety colours but most importantly the Shirt is made from “FR” flame Retardant 100% 200gsm Cotton Drill fabric.
XAX have selected the highly regarded CIBA "FR" Pyrovatex fabric treatment which is permanently bonded to high grade quality Cotton Drill fabric during the dyeing process. Computer technology equipment ensures the “FR” treatment bonds to the cellulose fibres of the Cotton giving it Flame Retardant properties while still allowing all the comfort of wearing a natural Cotton garment.
The XAX "FR" treatment extends the life of the shirt while offering the Welder extra protection from Spatter and Heat during work. The warmer climate of most Australian states added to the harsh Welding environment, inhibits many welders from wearing heavy protective clothing which can effect their working efficiency and comfort.
The XAX "Gloflash" FR200 Welders Shirt gives added Safety by being manufactured in Hi-Visibility Colours of Orange and Yellow. The standards approved Hi-Viz colours added to the Industry accepted Navy coloured front and shoulder panels give the shirt a unique feature. The Navy panel lessens the added glare reflection generated from the welding process. A full Navy coloured “Weldflash” FR200 shirt is also available. XAX has also added their Spectacle hang loops feature to the shirt pocket for easy storage of Safety Spectacles while not in use.
